-Greet the class by saying Hello/Hi. How are you? Ask Ss to respond with Hello/Hi. I’m fine. Thank you. And you? Encourage Ss to greet each other in pairs. Then have the whole class sing the song Hello and clap hands.

Get Ss to open their books on Page 6 and read the title. Ask them to look at the pictures and explain the context.

 - Tell Ss that they are going to learn to greet and respond to greetings formally.

- Have them look at 4 pictures to discuss the context in which the language is used. Ask them questions with: Who/Where/What

- Play the recording a few times for pupils to listen and repeat.

- Play the recording again for them to listen and repeat.
