-Greet the class by saying Hello/Hi. Encourage Ss to answer with Hello. Repeat the procedure several times.
-Then introduce yourself to theclass by pointing to yourself and say: I’m Mrs Go around the class and say your nae to different Ss. Help individuals respond with Hello. I’m Draw Ss’ attention to the title of the unit and check their comprehension.
- Have them repeat once or twice.
- Tell Ss that they are going to practise introducing themselves and responding to the introduction.
- Point to the first picture and elicit the answer of who the characters are. Show Ss how to find the answers by readingthe text in the speech bubles.
