 LESSON 1: part 1,2,3
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Students are expected to achieve the 
following objectives: 
1. Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: Hello, hi
- Sentence patterns: Hello/ Hi. I’m _____. 
- Use the names Ben, Mai, Minh, Lucy, the words hello, hi.
- Use Hello/ Hi. I’m _____. and Hello, / Hi, ____. I’m ___. to greet, 
self-introduce and respond to greetings.
- Listen to and demonstrate understanding of simple communicative contexts in 
relation to the topic “Greetings”
2. Competences:
- Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work.
- Sociability: Talk to each other, say good words to others.
3. Attitude
- Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks
- Diligence: complete learning tasks
- Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions
- Responsibility: appreciate kindness

 - Invite some of them to come to the board to the song

- Play the CD a second time, let Ss listen to 
each sentence. T gives Ss practice reading on - Work in pair.
